Features: MAXAIR CAPR is a compact, light-weight, computerised, no-hose powered air-purifying respirator (PAPR), whose highly-integrated design avoids the need for large air tubes and heavy belt-mounted blower units present in conventional PAPR.
The system contains four primary components, a helmet with power cord, battery, belt and charger. Various components, fan, filter, airflow system and motor, are also integrated. The filter cartridge is housed in the helmet, while the filter cover cap (FCC) is securely placed over it. Headband adjustments are positioned for secured wearing.
Airflow switch on the helmet adjusts and operates airflow. Disposable lens cuff (DLC) is placed around the face by fixing it to three attachment points on the helmet. DLC is a full-face cover with a high assigned protection factor (25).
The LED indicator of the helmet alerts the user for the equipment maintenance in real-time, and a lithium-ion battery clips onto the battery belt, adjusted around the waist. The system comes with two battery options.
The 2000-36 battery offers a run time of eight to ten hours, while the 2000-30 battery ensures the system to operate for a maximum of 20 hours. Helmet power cord is connected to the battery by cord connector.
Shroud and hood configurations with an assigned protection factor (APF) 1000 allow full head and neck coverage.
