Multiple alarm management options to meet your environmental requirements
IntelliVue MX40 displays electrocardiogram (ECG), pulse oximetry (SpO2). Clinicians can determine when the MX40 sends alarms and can quickly review and verify alarms on the device. This flexibility adapts to alarm management policies in different clinical settings without the need for additional equipment.
Easy patient and device authentication
Proper patient and device validation is critical. The IntelliVue MX40 ensures that the device is assigned to the correct patient by displaying the patient's identity information. After users are allowed to enter the IntelliVue information center, they must also perform verification checks, which is very valuable.
Display off mode for patient comfort
The color touch screen can extend battery life after entering the "display off" mode, and medical staff can activate the viewing screen by clicking a button.
Easy-to-clean design reduces potential for cross-contamination
The IntelliVue MX40 is designed with easy cleaning and cross contamination prevention in mind. The housing material allows cleaning with a variety of standard disinfectants, and can be sterilized regularly with hydrogen peroxide plasma or steam.
Wearable monitors allow patients to move as they please
Regardless of where the patient is in the hospital, IntelliVue MX40 provides progressive care monitoring for patients with different severity levels with continuous electrocardiogram (ECG) monitoring and optional pulse oximetry. Patients can move freely in the intensive care unit.
Select battery type based on preference
This device also gives you the flexibility to choose the type of battery: disposable AA batteries or Philips Li-Ion rechargeable batteries. Using Li-Ion rechargeable batteries can reduce the overall amount of landfill waste. In addition, the use of Philips rechargeable batteries can also reduce the recycling cost of disposable batteries.
