1. Assess respiratory needs
Diaphragm monitoring with Edi can help determine the actual support situation your baby needs in any ventilation mode and provide appropriate ventilation support. It can monitor for spontaneous breathing, true breathing triggers, over- and under-assistance, asynchrony of the patient's ventilator, sedatives, patient positioning, and apnea in preterm infants.


2. Prevent intubation
When CPAP is not enough, NIV NAVA provides effective and feasible alternatives that can increase the success rate of NIV. NIV NAVA is not affected by leaks, it improves short-term physiological effects and comfort, and reduces breathing workload.

3. Protection and stability
Using NAVA can provide the ventilation support that patients really need. When babies are in this mode, they themselves tend to choose lower pressure and tidal volume, which improves adaptability and comfort, and improves blood gas and oxygenation. If your baby needs controlled ventilation, PRVC will work for you.

4. Withdraw
Edi can track patients' progress from invasive to non-invasive ventilation (NIV, nasal CPAP, and high-flow therapy) on the same machine. NAVA and NIV NAVA is particularly useful during detachment from the ventilator. It can help you maintain diaphragmatic activity monitoring, avoid excessive or insufficient assistance, and reduce the need for sedatives. Can potentially limit diaphragmatic atrophy and promote earlier extubation.

5. Expanding treatment capacity
