The RTP DNA / RNA Virus Mini Kit includes extraction tubes pre-filled with lyophilized lysate components for the isolation of viral DNA and viral RNA from up to 200 ul of serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, other cell-free body fluids RNA, tissue samples (maximum 10 mg), blood (maximum 50 ul) and rinse fluid from swabs. After lysis, the sample is transferred to a spin-column-based operation, and the total preparation time of the PCR / RT-PCR template can be completed in only 20 minutes. The kit is CE marked and complies with the Directive 98/79/EC about in vitro diagnostic medical device (IVD-Directive). Products bearing the CE mark in accordance with the IVD-Directive can be used for diagnostic applications in countries / regions that recognize the directive.
